The values, discipline and team spirit embodied in the world of athletics are an integral part of the education of our community's children. The West Islip Hoops Club dedicates all their time and energy to providing athletic opportunities to children through involvement in, and support of, youth athletics in the West Islip community.

The West Islip Hoops Club works tirelessly to raise money for the Boys Middle School and High School basketball programs, as well as scholarship opportunities for all children not only those involved in Athletics. The West Islip Hoops Club recognizes the positive influence that team sports can have on children, not only as athletes, but people as well.

Big Shot Benefit Concert

On Saturday, October 15th, 2011 at 7:30PM, the West Islip Hoops Club will host a benefit concert featuring Mike DelGuidice and Big Shot - performing the music of Billy Joel, plus feature selections from Journey, Elton John, Paul McCartney, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith and many more - for benefit of the Boys Gymnasium. All proceeds for the purchase and installation of two new multisport scoreboards.
